"Yes, I know it's a little ridiculous to care this much about lighting," I laugh. "But here we are."

It's not just about a dimmer switch though and it's not about how little light there is. It's about how thoughtfully it's used.

It's where the light falls, how it reflects against warm wood, natural textiles, or colored glass. It's directional light that flatters a face instead of flooding a room. It's creating a warm, consistent glow that quietly makes people feel comfortable without ever knowing why.

I actually think it can be great when people don't notice the lighting at all—they simply find themselves ordering another drink, lingering a little longer, and having one more conversation.

I've spent my career designing for hospitality, building brands for restaurants, hotels, and food and beverage concepts. Along the way, I realized what captivated me most wasn't just the branding, it was creating environments where others could gather and enjoy themselves.

That passion deepened after my siblings and I opened Cactus Moon Lodge, a boutique hotel and event space we later sold. It was there that I hosted the first private dinner starting in 2021.

DIMMBULB lets me combine my love of hospitality, design, and my obsession with lighting.
